Being a pastor of a church is a prestigious responsibility given by God. Leading a church is not an easy joke. A pastor's anointing is like that of Aaron's. It's not by force or a happenstance that one becomes a pastor. It's a high calling like that of Aaron and unless called like Aaron one cannot take this honor on himself. To be a Pastor is a special calling with a special anointing.

Church should be the birthplace of revival. God can sent revival only when the church is ready to receive and sustain it. The end time revival that we are expecting is to last until the coming of Jesus Christ and so the church has to prepare itself for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. During the outpouring of the Holy Spirit people in huge numbers will gather in church. Hence, church has to be prepared in all respects to accommodate souls.

Like the journey of Israelites from Egypt to Canaan is our journey from this world to heaven. Israelites repeatedly fell into sin and angered God. Moses stood in the gap and pleaded God to forgive his people. Today God expects us to stand in the Gap for the forgiveness of our nation.

Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the prime duty of the church. When church fails to carry out its responsibility the nation moves away from God. It's not enough to be believers. God expects us to be harvesters of souls. Evangelization is the need of the hour. Once we realise the need for Gospel, it's upto us to go to streets and cities and proclaim the Gospel. Are we ready?

Revival has to mark its beginning in the church. God wants every church to be united in His name and together pray for revival. Sharing the Gospel, winning souls and bringing them to church has to be every believer's commitment. Pastors can encourage believers to pray and win souls because that pleases God.
